About Chuck Erickson

Mr. Erickson is a business consultant specializing in Company Startup Guidance, Revitalization, and Executive Coaching and Mentoring.  Recently he has been the Executive Director and CEO of the environmental, technology and international business incubators in San Jose.  In his tenure he has helped over 150 companies secure  >$750,000,000 and successfully enter main-stream commerce.

Prior to the Incubators he has held positions of corporate President/CEO, CTO, Managing Director, and Technical Director of entrepreneurial management teams in start-up and turn‑around companies.

Chuck is a seasoned executive with over twenty‑five years of management experience focused in the areas of innovative software and hardware development, international business and corporate operations.  He has extensive international experience in software and hardware development, marketing, and manufacturing.  He has demonstrated ability to identify opportunities quickly and decisively act to implement strategies to take advantage of them.
 
Chuck has been an Executive Coach and Mentor for over 20 years.

Chuck is proud of his abilities as a creative innovator for strategic marketing and competitive planning.  He has proven abilities as an effective team builder, strategist, and communicator.  He is a tactful “Win-Win” negotiator.

Chuck has helped over 50 International companies successfully enter the US market.

Mr. Erickson has had a number of successful turn-around and start-over successes, rescuing investments in software, electronics, construction, and civil engineering.

For many years he was President of Olivetti Advanced Technology Center, the U.S. based development arm of Ing. C. Olivetti Sp.A, the ($7,300m) Italian electronics company. During 16 years with Olivetti, Mr. Erickson launched over 1500 new products and held a variety of positions in the product development arena, from Manager through Director to President.
 
Mr. Erickson holds a BSEE from Illinois Institute of Technology, has done postt-graduate studies at The University of Chicago, and has taught at IIT, Penn State University and San Jose State University.  He is an active volunteer (and Eagle Scout) in the Boy Scouts of America, holding positions of Council President, Executive VP, and Area President.  He is also currently serving  on the Board for Eastfield Ming Quong, a child and family services non-profit agency.
